North India Highlights (10 nts).



Some of the sights within are listed below:-
Delhi: India Gate, Houses of Parliament, Humayun's tomb, Red Fort, Jama Masjid and many more sights.
Agra: Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Itamadh-Udh-Dhaula, Fatehpur sikri.
Jaipur: The Palace of Winds, City Palace, Observatory, Amber Palace, Jaigarh fort and many more.
Orcchha: Very peaceful town lost in time. A great reprieve from the hustle and bustle towns of Agra and Jaipur. Known for its Fort and temple.
Khajuraho: Noted for its temples with erotic carvings. The Khandariya Mahadeo temple is a work of art.
Chitrakut: Hindu holy town with ghats and temples.
Allahabad: Hindu holy town most famous for the confluence of the 3 rivers: The Ganges, the Yamuna and Saraswati. This town is televised all over the world every 12 years for the famous Kumbh Mela.
Varanasi: Bathing ghats of Varanasi are one of greatest images of India. Taking a boat ride along the Ganges in the morning is an experience not to be missed. Other sights include: Kashi Vishwanath temple, Benares Hindu University and a visit to Sarnath (the buddhist pilgrimage point).

Detailed itinerary is given below:


Day Itinerary
01 DELHI - JAIPUR. Proceed to Jaipur for 2 night's stay.
02 JAIPUR. Full day sightseeing of Jaipur and Amber. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
03 JAIPUR - FATEHPUR SIKRI - AGRA. Early departure from Jaipur to Agra visiting Fatehpur Sikri en-route. Check in at hotel for overnight stay. Afternoon sightseeing of Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.
04 AGRA. Full day sightseeing of other sights in Agra such as Itamadh-Udh-Dhaula, Fatehpur Sikri and Sikandra before returning to the Taj Mahal for a last visit.
05 AGRA - GWALIOR - ORCCHHA. Early morning drive to Gwalior and visit Gwalior Fort. Then drive onto to Orcchha for overnight stay.
06 ORCCHHA - KHAJURAHO. Morning sightseeing of the temples and Fort at Orcchha. Afternoon at leisure. Then drive onto Khajuraho for 2 night's stay.
07 KHAJURAHO. Full day sightseeing of Khajuraho especially the intricate carvings of the Khandariya Mahadev temple (western group temples).
08 KHAJURAHO - CHITRAKUT - ALLAHABAD. Morning drive to Chitrakut. After visiting the ghats and temples in this town drive on to Allahabad for overnight stay.
09 ALLAHABAD - VARANASI. Early morning view the sacred city of Allahabad known for its confluence of the three rivers. Then proceed onto Varanasi for 2 night's stay.
10 VARANASI. Drive down to the ghats to take early morning boat ride along the Ganges river (cost of boat ride not included). Visit the temples in Varanasi. Afternoon visit the Buddhist hole town of Sarnath.
11 VARANASI. Check out of hotel. Trip concludes.
